Google Pixel 4A Packed With Snapdragon 730, 6GB RAM – All You Need To Know

Today a new leak emerges from the Cuban YouTube Channel TechnoLike Plus. It reveals a pre-production unit of the Google Pixel 4a in all its glory. The most interesting part is that the YouTuber performed a benchmark confirming some of the internals of this handset.

Under the hood, the new handset will boast Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 chipset along with 6GB of RAM. It’s not the most impressive setup for a 2020 phone, but it still is better than the Snapdragon 670 found in last year’s Pixel 3A. The handset scored over 268,973 points in AnTuTu and that is a solid result if we compare it with other mid-range phones.

After diving into the specifications, the video follows with some in-depth details about the battery. The Pixel 4a survived with 7 hours and 21 minutes of on-screen time during one of the tests and 5 hours and 20 minutes on the other. According to the leaks, this is a 3,080mAh battery and the results are pretty much on par with this capacity.

According to the leaks, the Google Pixel 4A will debut with a 5.81-inch FullHD+ OLED display with the punch-hole selfie camera. The handset will come in two variants – one with 64GB storage and another one with 128GB. Since this is a Pixel smartphone, don’t expect MicroSD card support. On the rear, we have a single 12MP camera, but this isn’t a big problem thanks to the Google Camera app.

The handset was originally planned for May 22. However, it will happen only in June. Apparently it will go official during the Android 11 online reveal.
