Yesterday an anonymous tipster leaked photos of what could be Samsung’s unannounced phone Galaxy S6 active.The leaked photo shows the back and front of this black coloured rugged phone.
Going by the picture, Samsung Galaxy S6 Active seems to be made to handle lot of adventure. The phone looks similar to the Active models of its predecessors. It is assumed that this phone will not have a fingerprint scanner just like Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. Other hardware layouts are kept same as Galaxy S6, except the loudspeaker has been moved to the back.
According to the source, S6 Active will have the model number SM-G890A. It will hace an enormous 3,500 mAh battery which is a significant upgrade from the 2,600 mAh battery of Galaxy S6.
Apart from these tweaks, S6 Active is supposed to have high end features similar to Galaxy S6 which include 14nm Exynos 7420 SoC, 5.1” QHD Super AMOLED display, 16MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera.
UPDATE: S6 Active that is SM G870A has already been certified in USA by FCC.
