The rumors about Xiaomi’s new flagship device Mi 5 continues with more detailed and credible news about the device.
According to the latest rumor, Mi 5 will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC. This chipset has support for Sense ID which is a fingerprint sensing technology. The Sense ID uses Ultrasound sensors instead of Optical sensors. Mi 5 will surely include a fingerprint sensor. This new chipset will be teamed up with a 4 GB RAM as compared to the 3 GB RAM in Mi 4. The internal storage will be 16 GB/64 GB.
The dimensions of this phone will be an upgrade. It will have a 5.5 inch QHD display while the thickness will be reduced to 5.1 mm.
Although there are no clear news about the camera, Mi 5 is expected to have 16 MP OIS camera in the back and 8 MP camera in front.
Xiaomi is also expected to launch a plus version of this phone with a 6 inch display.
